Munny Monday - Jetpack Girl

Up for today’s Munny Monday edition is a killer design by SOUTHERNDRAWL. Titled Jetpack Girl, though isn’t the artists most favored designs, I’m really digging the originality of it! If you’re in the Detroit area this Winter you’ll see it at the Winter Munny Show. At first glance I immediately thought of a WWII War propaganda poster. Props.
A Word From The Artist
I hate to take away the mystique but Jetpack Girl is the end result of a bunch of other projects I was unsatisfied with. The jet pack was a Munny mobile turbine that I had originally fashioned for a teddy trooper. The girl figure was a Munny I completed a year earlier but was really lukewarm about. I totally repainted her here except for parts of her face. The Munny goggles helped make the different parts more cohesive. Luckily I didn’t trade them off for the Munny glasses I really wanted at the time. I’m a tinkerer; I often pick things apart and modify them. If she doesn’t sell at the Winter Munny Show @ LIFT Detroit, I’m sure I’ll change her up again after a while. Check out http://particlegun.blogspot.com to see some of my other stuff.
