I never understood the extreme body mod scene. Tattoos and facial piercings I can understand, but why on earth would a person want something shoved under their skin? I’ve seen people with devil horns implanted in their heads, and even people with reptilian spines running along their backs and forearms, but the above picture is just plain nuts. This guy actually got suckers implanted in his arms. There’s no such thing as anesthetics in the world of extreme body modification, so you can imagine what this may have felt like. I guess it’s worth it if he can actually stick to stuff, but I doubt he can. Kinda’ neat looking, though. [Ectomo via Modblog]
