This is pretty trippy, kind of like that whole Death of Garfield thing that BoingBoing was yappin’ about a few years ago. Garfield Minus Garfield is exactly what it sounds like: a collection of Garfield strips without Garfield. The results are either oddly depressing or just plain funny.

This site officially rests in my bookmarks now and I’m looking forward to seeing what other kinds of comic strip mods people come up with. I’d personally like to see Calvin & Hobbes without Hobbes. Or maybe without Calvin! Now that’d be weird.

   Those are hysterical! In the 2-18 comic Arbuckle’s eyes are edited for dramatic crazy effect.

   Hahahaha, awesome. I hate Garfield so much, if only they’d publish these in the papers instead. And how about a Peanuts comic without all those annoying kids, dogs and birds?
