Gate Opener Alice
I’ve seen a shit-ton of toys in my day, but I’m not gonna’ lie, this is the coolest toy I’ve ever freaking seen. There’s a pretty good chance that I’d even give up a majority of my toy collection just to own this.
The character’s name is Alice, or ‘Gate Opener Alice’, and she’s a character from a Japanese tabletop RPG called Queen’s Gate, which is a spin-off to Queen’s Blade. I’ve never played either of these, but I really don’t care. This figure is amazing; from the brilliant costume, to the guns, to the pose, to the adorable half-wedgie. This piece exudes so much character. Plus, she’s really, really cute.
Most Anime figures are gratuitously provocative to a point were it’s just plain weird, but this figure is more cute than anything. It’s like, she’s trying o be so badass with her guns and boots, but she has a portion of her undies wedged up in her tucass. She drops some time in late August, but she’s already sold out at most places that were doing pre-orders. At around $50, this isn’t a bad deal at all.
