ALBOTAS - A Little Bit On The Awesome Side

Today’s Munny Monday is a similar design concept to what we saw awhile back from Mr. Shane Jessup’s custom Munny. This is one of those simple yet intricate designs that I really dig. I love how the clear piece flows perfectly with the head and makes great use of the zipper pull.

A Word From The Artist

Well first off…. my name is Clark Rotharmel, im 22, born in New Orleans…raised in Boston. I’m currently a Junior in Wentworth Institute of Technology’s Industrial Design program. So I’ve taken model making classes but this was my first attempt at a custom toy. I had been wanting to do one for a while, and the KidRobot Mini Munny contest was a perfect opportunity to take a shot at it. I worked on him a couple hours everyday after classes for about a week.

I had a lot of fun with the project and def. plan on doing some more customs soon…. look out for a MEGA Munny version.

I graduate next year and would love to end up in the toy industry…
