For those of you hiding under your desk in the fetal postion, come out and rejoice. The wait is over for your high def needs. Paramount will be releasing Cloverfield on Blu-ray June 3rd. Those that waited (such as myself) and let the dvd pass us by will be treated to an excellent 1080p picture and a bunch of features(some Blu-ray only). The alternate endings are crap, they aren’t alternate at all. They FAIL in my opinion.

The low-def version had a sweet iron box special edition. And yes, the alt endings, total fail.

I bought the steelcase edition at FYE because I’m a sucker and will be buying this as well, so what, I like to blast through my cash as quick at possible.

Ah, I was waiting for this to get announced. I had heard that they were working up a pretty feature rich HD-DVD version of the film… but y’know… dead format!
But yeah, this will be one of the few Blu-Ray titles I pick up this year.
